Let us pray: God, like a watchful shepherd, You care for us. You make the earth yield healing herbs and medicines and give us the knowledge to learn their power. Your creative love continues through the healing hands of doctor, pharmacist and nurse, and the healing counsel of priest, minister and friend. Bless us, and all who suffer, especially the following members of our parish family: Jacob Alvarez, Marisol B., Serge Belanger, Delmar & Gloria Bolick, Dan Calderon, Mary Ferguson, Anita Flores, George Flores, Joe G. Flores, Teresa Flores, Frances Forster, Micah MacNeil, Amador Martinez,Baby Martinez, Irene Medina, Tracy Cole Morones, Susan Munoz, Andrea Obledo, Antonio Ortega, Gloria Padron, Bert Parkes, Ron Ramirez, Stephanie Rodriguez, Martha Sanchez, Carson Sandlin, Becky Schwartz, Delfina Selpulveda, Karen Standring, Cecil & Teresa Toudouze, Margo Ximenez, Danny & Daniel Ybarra, Joe Ybarra, Ofelia Badillo, Sheridan Bautista, Sandra Cave, Mary Cerha, Al Coignet, Rose Coronado, Penny Cranek, Aurora Dyer, Ed Fischnar, Julian Galindo, Deacon Jesse Galvan, Dee Hancock, Grace Heinze, Aaron Holmbo, Bill Jennings, Robyn Marcum, Margie Morones, Tracy Oviedo,Jackie Reeves, D.M. & Diana Salas, Linda Santos, Billie Sievers, Dick Sledden, Nancy Souhrada, Mark Spiekerman, Anthony Trevino, Roberto Trevino, Rosaura Trevino, Gabby Truly, Carmel Van Alen, Carlos Vazquez and Bishop Yanta. Our afflictions become a cross that burdens us with fear and uncertainty. Cast out our fear and revive our faith. Give us strength that we may be filled with hope. Let the Holy Spirit come to our aid that we might live each day in the joy for which Your fashioned us. We pray for healing in body, soul and spirit that we may be Your servants in this world and enjoy the fullness of Your presence in the life to come. We make this prayer humbly, knowing we cannot restrict or direct Your saving grace. We give joyful thanks for Your compassion wherever we may find it. We ask all this in the name of the Lord Jesus who intercedes before You on our behalf. Amen.

(New names run four consecutive weeks.)

In Sympathy …The parish community extends its condolences to parishioner Mary Keeton, whose husband James Keeton recently passed away. Incline Your ear, O Lord, unto our prayers. We humbly pray You show Your mercy to the soul of Your servant James, whom You have commanded to pass out of this world, that You would place him in the region of peace and light, and bid him be partaker with Your saints. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
We pray
in hope for the family,
relatives and friends of James Keeton,
and for all the dead known to You alone.

In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever. Amen.
