The affirmation of God brings with it the supreme affirmation and protection of the dignity of each and every man and woman: "Do you not know that you are God's temple? … God's temple is holy, and you are that temple" (1 Cor 3:16-17). Here we find joined together the truth and dignity of God and the truth and dignity of man.

For all who have sinned against human life: that having once been washed clean in the waters of baptism, they may now be washed clean through the sacrament of mercy in confession ; w e pray to the Lord. Amen.

Esa afirmación de Dios lleva consigo la suprema afirmación y tutela de la dignidad de cada hombre y de todos los seres humanos: "¿No sabéis que sois templo de Dios?... El templo de Dios es santo: ese templo sois vosotros" (1 Co 3,16-17). He aquí unidas la verdad y dignidad de Dios con la verdad y la dignidad del hombre.

Por todos los que han pecado contra la vida humana: para que habiendo sido purificados en las aguas del bautismo, ahora puedan ser purificados por el sacramento de la misericordia en la confesión ; roguemos al Señor. Amen.
