Faith Comes by Hearing/You’ve Got the Time

We hope you are listening to the New Testament on the CDs distributed during the launch of our archdiocesan 40-day New Testament Listening Program called “You've Got The Time.” The free MP3 CDs are being provided by Faith Comes by Hearing, a ministry that records the New Testament and distributes it around the world to poor and illiterate people, in their native language. Once a New Testament is recorded in a new language, it’s loaded onto a Proclaimer, a virtually indestructible audio player that can be used in the most rugged and remote locations of the world. Powered by battery, sun, and a hand crank, it is pre-loaded with the New Testament on an embedded microchip. Up to 300 or more can hear God’s Word anytime, anywhere!

Today’s special second collection supports recording of new languages and distribution of Proclaimers to Catholic missionaries all over the world. Make checks payable to the parish. Please be as generous as possible. Thank you!
