Family Advent Retreat
hosted by Tecaboca
Dec 2-4 or Dec 9-11
Relax with your family at beautiful Tecaboca in Mountain Home, Texas. Join us for a special weekend of family and peer group activities. Take a break from the hectic bustle of the Christmas season and instead spend time reflecting on the true meaning of Advent and your family bonds, all led by our retreat team of lay and religious Marianists. Crafts, cookie baking, puppet shows, hayrides, marshmallow roasts, hot chocolate, prayer, and liturgy make for a great, spirit-filled weekend. All families welcome: single parent, young, blended, etc. Bring Grandma and Grandpa, too! Register online at www.tecaboca.com or call 830-866-3425 for more information.
Shadow a Shamrock Program:
An excellent opportunity to experience campus life at Incarnate Word High School (IWHS)
Educating young women since 1881, Incarnate Word High School offers outstanding academic programs, athletics and extracurricular activities. A young woman leaves Incarnate Word with an inquiring mind, confidence in her own self-worth and the empowerment to make a difference. The IWHS shadowing program is an excellent opportunity to experience a full day of campus life and get to know more about our school community. Typical shadow days are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch for the shadow visitor will be provided. Visitors should wear their school uniform or other appropriate attire.
