WANTED:

Volunteers & Donations for Unity Day Festival

Our annual fall festival will be held on September 26, 2010. We need volunteers to assist with various festival duties and are also seeking donations for the silent auction.

All parishioners are welcome and highly encouraged to get involved by sharing their time and talent. Come meet and interact with other parishioners. Present ideas and suggestions that will improve the festival. Interested in volunteering or donating items? Contact Eliott Izaguirre at 210-885-9428 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Blood Drive Cancelled

The blood drive scheduled for August has been cancelled. During our last one, only four donors participated. Those that did may donate again in August at any nearby blood bank. You can, too! Simply go in, donate and you will receive a $20 gift card and be sure to mention that you are donating on behalf of St Anthony Claret Parish.

What would happen if you treated your Bible like you treat your cell phone and…

…you couldn't live without it?

…you used it in case of an emergency?
…you carried it around in your purse or pocket?
…you turned back to go get it if you forgot it?
…you flipped through it several times a day?
…you used it to receive text messages?
…you gave it to kids as gifts?
…you used it as you traveled?
…you upgraded it to get the latest version?
And, unlike your cell phone, you would never worry about your Bible being disconnected; Jesus already paid the bill!
