Pray for an unborn child!
St. Anthony Claret Respect Life Ministry
3rd Annual Spiritual Adoption: Sept. 2009 to June 2010
Our parish’s Respect Life Ministry invites you to join in this year’s Spiritual Adoption.
Offer this prayer daily for a baby forming in the womb of an unknown mother and for an end to abortion: Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I love you very much; I beg you to spare the life of the unborn child that I have spiritually adopted, who is in danger of abortion.
During your earthly life, this child which you have adopted will be known only to God, but in the hereafter, you will enjoy each other’s company for all eternity.
The baby is coming soon. Continue praying and start thinking about preparing for the baby once he/she arrives. Make plans to attend our celebration of life!
You are cordially invited to celebrate the birth of our spiritually adopted babies!
When: Sunday, June 6 (after the 10 a.m. & noon Masses)
Where: Msgr. Hubertus Hall
Who: Anyone & everyone who likes to eat cake & celebrate life
Why: To remind people of the sanctity of life!
Please bring an item to donate, such as diapers (all sizes), clothing (newborn-4T), wipes, pacifiers, bottles, sippy cups, bibs, and blankets. All donated items will go to the Allied Women's Center, a crisis pregnancy center in San Antonio.

In Remembrance
Graduation season is upon us—a time of recognizing accomplishments, celebrating milestones and looking forward to futures filled with promise. In the midst of all this, let us not forget one very important truth: over a million children per grade level throughout the nation would have been with us had they not been killed by abortion. Over a million members of each graduating class this year have been legally destroyed.
Let us take a moment to reflect in prayerful remembrance of our fellow students who have been lost from abortion. We do not condemn those who felt they had to do this; rather, we weep with them now and we pray for the day when the most frail and vulnerable lives will enjoy the same protections the rest of us do.
